The space between your teeth is a triangle. The best way to clean a triangular space is with a triangular tool. This is why you use a Stim-U-Dent.®

Stim-U-Dents® also clean the concave areas between the teeth that floss misses. Do not force into tight spaces between the teeth.

Once the toothpaste is on all of the teeth, moisten a Stim-U-Dent® and insert the pointed end between each tooth with the flat side next to the gum. Use a gentle but firm in/out motion, contacting the sides of each tooth and stimulating the gum tissue between the teeth.

Preventive dentistry is always better than restorative dentistry. For this reason, we offer personalized, individual dental health education. However, when restorative dentistry is indicated we strive to provide our clients with the advances of modern dentistry which are appropriate to each person.

Dr. Martin J. Nigrelle graduated from St. Edward’s University with a B.S. degree in Biology and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from St. Louis University. After graduating from dental school, he completed a 1 year Internship and a 1 year Residency in Hospital Dentistry at The Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Nigrelle had a private practice in St. Louis for two years. He and his family then moved to Seattle… their dream destination. He has practiced family dentistry in the Laurelhurst neighborhood of Seattle for more than 30 years.

Dr. Nigrelle has dedicated his professional life to teaching preventive dentistry to his patients and has developed and authored a system of preventive maintenance through proper daily oral hygiene called the 7 Steps to Great Dental HealthSM. He has many dedicated patients who praise his instruction for saving their mouths from oral disease and destruction. He is well regarded in the profession as a dentist committed to prevention and patient education.

Dr. Nigrelle is a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association and the Seattle King County Dental Society. He is a past president of the Seattle King County Dental Society. He has served on and chaired many committees of the Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society and Washington Dental Service where he was on the Board of Directors for nine years. He is a member of the Pierre Fauchard Society and the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry.
